- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Drilled the WRONG tooth WITHOUT anesthetic. Now I need TWO teeth fixed. STAY AWAY! I went in with a toothache and they assumed I wanted it pulled. When I told them I wanted it saved if possible, they said I needed $2000 for a root canal. When I said I couldn't afford it the dentist, without my consent, drilled into the PERFECTLY FINE tooth above it and took out about 1/4 of the enamel off the crown, apparently because it was touching the hurt tooth. It's possible the dentist drilled all the way into the dentin, as that tooth now hurts like hell too. The cherry on top is that they didn't do anything to help the tooth that I went in to get fixed in the first place. I'm seeing a new dentist later this week, and will be speaking to a lawyer.May 16, 2017by Ryan N
